LASERTRON began as an idea in 1983 between two brothers who wanted to develop a game of tag with a "Star Wars" theme. The idea began to turn into reality when a business plan was developed at Canisius College in Buffalo in the spring of 1986. The LASERTRON business was incorporated in the fall of 1986 and the development of the first LASERTRON LT-1 laser tag system began. The Amherst LASERTRON center opened in December 1988 with 30 laser tag vests. The LASERTRON center has expanded several times over the years and has seen many new generations of LASERTRON equipment. Our facility is now called the LASERTRON "Interactive Entertainment CenterSM". In the summer of 2002, we purchased the property on the back side of our building for future expansion over the next 3 years (Please stay tuned for updates on our expansion plans and new attractions). LASERTRON began manufacturing laser tag equipment and arenas for other entertainment centers across the United States and the world in 1992. Our Amherst, New York LASERTRON center is used as a testing facility for new generations of laser tag equipment and arenas. The LASERTRON game systems are all manufactured right here in Buffalo, New York. We have over 85 clients who operate LASERTRON game systems and arenas all over the world. LASERTRON added a second arena to our center in August of 2002. The new arena is multi-level and also has our newest LASERTRON LT-11 game system. The LT-11 is the most advanced laser tag system ever developed. In November 2004, we completely remodeled our original "Sport" arena, including upgrading the equipment to the latest LASERTRON LT-11 game system This arena is the longest running laser tag arena in the United States at over 17 years and counting. If you are coming to play LASERTRON laser tag, you have definitely come to the right place. You will get to play the latest and greatest features our game system has to offer; and, YOU get to play all of them first! You can play in our LASERTRON "Sport Arena" which is now the largest laser tag arena in the eastern U.S. At a giant 9200 square feet, the newly remodeled arena features two levels of play. All of us at LASERTRON would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to entertain you over these many years. Most importantly, we will continue our never ending pursuit of cooler and more exciting high tech multi-player entertainment. Need directions to LASERTRON? Click Here |
