Reservation System Successful centers realize that the majority of their guests utilize their facilities on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In March and April our LASERTRON Interactive Entertainment Center in Buffalo had its 6 busiest Saturdays ever. Our guests played 1,144 30-minute sessions of laser tag on a Saturday in April. Our two arenas were at full capacity for over 9 hours. The reservation system spreads out the peak demand for our attractions throughout the entire day. The only way we could have done this many players is by utilizing a reservation system. The reservation software within the LASERTRON Center Manager Pro 4.0 System can increase revenue on busy weekends and holidays by 10% to 30% or more. We estimate that our reservation system generates over $200,000 dollars in additional sales per year for our LASERTRON laser tag center in Buffalo, New York. The reservation system can be used to make reservations for multiple attractions such as laser tag arenas, go-kart tracks, mini-golf courses, and any attraction that has a fixed hourly capacity as well as birthday rooms or tables.
A guest can call and make a reservation months in advance or for the same day. Advanced bookings for birthdays, groups, lock-ins, and corporate groups are easy to reserve. A deposit is required for advanced reservations or a credit card can be used to hold the reservation. Same day reservations can also be taken over the phone. A credit card hold can also be used for same day reservations. We do not require this at our center because 99% of all same day reservations show up as scheduled. A reservation system significantly maximizes guest satisfaction. The ability for a guest to make a reservation and guarantee their playing time is a big benefit. By using a reservation system guests don't have to worry about standing in line and waiting to play. They can schedule their time and show up knowing a spot has been saved for them. Since the arcade and snack bar can be significant revenue generators, it makes a lot of sense to have a reservation system that gives your guests the opportunity to utilize your arcade and snack bar as opposed to standing in line. The reservation system also helps with the scheduling of your staff. By reviewing your reservations, you are able to estimate how busy you are going to be for the upcoming week.
