When I joined the small but very ambitious team at LASERTRON in 1994, after being in public accounting for 14 years, I knew I was about to embark on a very exciting and satisfying adventure. We had a full-time employee list of only 12 dedicated young people, one modestly successful retail center, and a small but capable start-up manufacturing facility. There was never a question of what could be done…and eventually what would be done to the entertainment industry with LASERTRON being a key player in the arena of fun.

During that time, we've had a staff of well over 100 (many now with families of their own), seven retail centers, and a state-of-art production facility which includes our high-tech design and inspirational research and development departments. Our customers' need and request for guidance in family entertainment also prompted us to open additional companies. We also joined forces on many joint ventures and revenue share arrangements.

Doing all this in such a short time while always maintaining LASERTRON's reality of providing the best client services and the best entertainment imaginable, constantly improving, creating, innovating and finding new ways to creatively entertain millions in a positive and profitable way, is a feat seldom seen in any business. Our growth and the "being in the trenches" mentality has given LASERTRON the edge. We are now known in the industry as the best company to go to…we have the best, quality product and service out there. Through our experiences and maturity, we know what our customers need and help them attain their goals. We understand the nuances of financing the uniqueness of laser tag equipment, the planning and excitement of opening a site, and the rewards (both financial and intangible) of doing it all well.

I'm extremely proud of the accounting department at LASERTRON. We've met and exceeded the challenges of this fast-changing industry. We are able to offer various financing options as well as suggestions on how to best make our customers' centers profitable. The information we provide assists our customers in decision-making they would not get elsewhere. We're always happy to share the success of those things that "worked" and those that did not.
