LASERTRON HOLDS THEIR SPRING OPERATORS' CONFERENCE

LASERTRON, Inc., manufacturers of professional laser tag game systems, held its Spring 2003 Professional Laser Tag Operators' Conference in Buffalo, NY April 1 and 2. The conference was held at LASERTRON's Interactive Entertainment Center, which is the longest continuously operating laser tag center in the United States. The conference, entitled Laser Tag- "Run it like a Business", had the highest attendance to date. Prospective clients were also in attendance and came from as far away as Idaho to learn how to operate a successful laser tag attraction as well as gain knowledge, experience and ideas from veteran operators.

"The operators' conference is a must for any laser tag operator or prospective owner/operator." - Mike Elrod, Manager, Laserport

The invaluable information that was presented included topics such as, Marketing, Capital Investment and Capital Re-Investment Systems, Marketing and Sales Systems, Creating and Delivering the Best Products and Guest Experiences, Management Leadership Systems and more. The attendees were given time each day to have roundtable discussions on various challenges that were affecting their locations. Solutions were then presented for operators to implement at their locations to eliminate or reduce those challenges. Attendees also participated in compiling suggestions and new ideas for future laser tag features and products that would enhance their laser tag operation as well as the guest experience.

"As a manufacturer/operator you are very outgoing and sharing with companies that have your system. You want us to succeed so you listen and react. It is no illusion that you strive for perfection in all parts of your business. Stay successful." - Kevin Denny, Sales Manager, Magic Mountain

On the first evening, attendees were invited to dinner and then an evening of laser tag! Everyone was given the opportunity to play in both of LASERTRON's arenas. The "Sport Arena" which is a 6,800 square foot single-level arena and offers players a team game format with "Deactivator Mode" and "Rapid-Fire Mode" and their newest 3,260 square foot multi-level "Adventure Arena" which allowed players to utilize LASERTRON's newest LT-11 game system.

Prizes were given out at the end of the conference and Bruce Glorsky, owner of Recreation Station in Toms River, NJ, was the grand prize winner of 2 new LASERTRON player vests! Other winners received T-shirts, hats, and cases of fog fluid and scoresheets.

Attendees also completed surveys to give LASERTRON feedback on the conference. When asked the question: "How strong of a recommendation would you give to another operator if they asked you about attending a future operators' conference?" - 98% responded "very good to excellent". When asked if they would return to another conference 94% of the attendees responded "very likely to definitely will return" and many responded that they would send other members of their support staff to the next conference.
