LASERTRON EDUCATES AND ENTERTAINS AT THEIR SPRING OPERATORS’ CONFERENCE

Amherst, NY May 4, 2006 - LASERTRON, manufacturers of professional laser tag game systems and arenas, held its Spring 2006 Professional Laser Tag Operators’ Conference in Buffalo, NY April 25-26. The conference was held at LASERTRON’s Interactive Entertainment Center, which is the longest continuously operating laser tag center in the United States. The conference, entitled Do It Right The First TimeSM, provided information to attendees from all over the United States.

"The conference was excellent! The entire LASERTRON team was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and offered great service. The attention to detail was very impressive!"
- Evan Miller, Owner, Sports Connection

International LASERTRON Alliance Meetings are also held several times over the course of the two-day conference. These meetings are specifically designed for operators who have previously attended a conference. Marketing & Operational strategies and other topics that directly and positively affect each location’s success are discussed.

"This conference is essential for learning how to work on your business rather than working in your business."
- Paul Henigin, Owner, Lazerstar

A new addition to the LASERTRON Conference was the Management Program. LASERTRON Operators are able to send members of their management team to expand their knowledge and learn new ideas on how to effectively manage their staff and facility at the highest levels possible. LASERTRON will be offering the Management Program again at their July 18-19, 2006 Conference. The October Conference will offer a class for Technicians and at the January ’07 Conference there will be a session for Marketing Personnel.

"As a new LASERTRON manager this conference was extremely helpful!!!"
- Wes Vincil, Assistant Manager, SkateNation Plus

Several guest speakers were on hand to provide additional information and education. Peter Murphy, owner of Laser Flash, talked to the group about Customer Service. Rick Kirby, President of Betson Enterprises and Dave Reiners who is a sales representative of Betson were both on hand to discuss ways that their company can assist and serve the needs of clients with regards to their game room. Kevin Weber and Thomas Ramage from M&T Insurance Agency discussed matters of insurance and Mick Whipple from M&T Bank shared with the group information about securing financing for their projects and the ins and outs of SBA and bank loans.

"Always eye opening with ways to improve and work toward a perfect entertainment world (business)."
- Kathy Hollyer, Owner, Hyperspace Fun Center

Prizes were given out at the end of the conference including two new LASERTRON LT-11 vests valued at over $5,000! Other winners received cases of fog fluid, LASERTRON T-shirts, hats and score sheets.

On day three a section for Operators and Developers was attended by several LASERTRON developers. The Business Plan and Financial Statement Review was a thorough overview of the importance of a well planned and comprehensive business plan. A detailed review of a financial spreadsheet also showed developers the realistic numbers that a laser tag entertainment center can expect to see.
