HOLDS THEIR WINTER OPERATORS' CONFERENCE Amherst, NY May 5 - LASERTRON, Inc., manufacturers of professional laser tag game systems, held its Spring 2004 Professional Laser Tag Operators' Conference in Buffalo, NY April 27-28. The conference was held at LASERTRON's Interactive Entertainment Center, which is the longest continuously operating laser tag center in the United States. The conference, entitled Laser Tag - "Run it Like a Business", provided information to forty-eight attendees. "You shared a lot of useful information. Your staff is great and very friendly. I had no idea that there is so much involved in running a laser tag facility. Thank you." - Chris Stearns, Manager, Sports Warehouse The attendees came from as far away as Vancouver, British Columbia and Florida to learn how to operate a successful laser tag attraction as well as gain knowledge, experience and ideas from veteran operators. "The conference exceeded my expectations by a lot. I got so much information not only from the conference but from other attendees. I am extremely impressed with the level of professionalism of the entire operation, top to bottom. A++++"- Aaron Bryan Cook, Partner The invaluable information that was presented included topics such as, Marketing, Capital Investment and Capital Re-Investment Systems, Marketing and Sales Systems, Creating and Delivering the Best Products and Guest Experiences, Management Leadership Systems and more. Several guest speakers were on hand to provide additional information and education. Frank Price, Founder of Birthday University, who is one of the leading experts on birthday parties, put everyone in an energetic and fun mood by playing music and games and teaching everyone about the foundations of a great birthday party experience. Another speaker was Jason Bock, "The Laser Tag Guy", who presented extremely valuable information on how to build a great web site for family entertainment centers with laser tag as the premier attraction. Matt Welly, President of Alliance Capital offered leasing and financing options for prospects as well as current operators. "The conference content was a roadmap for success that can be applied to any business venture. Meaningful team building focused on excellence is the formula for greatness. Every aspect of the conference was presented to perfection. It was not an illusion."- Pam Farlow, Director, Insanity Skate On the first evening, LASERTRON elaborately transformed their birthday party area into a fine dining experience. Candles, mood lighting, a simulated beach was projected onto a projector screen, and beautifully decorated tables gave the attendees a sampling of how easily the space could be utilized for corporate dining functions and special events. The food was cooked on site, and wine and beer were served which is now offered at the LASERTRON center. After a satisfying dinner everyone was given the opportunity to play in both of LASERTRON's arenas. The "Sport Arena" which is a 6,800 square foot single-level arena and offers players a team game format with "Energizer" and their newest 3,260 square foot multi-level "Adventure Arena" which allowed players to utilize LASERTRON's newest LT-11 game system. Prizes were given out at the end of the conference including 4 new LASERTRON LT-11 vests valued at over $10,000! Two were for current owners to win and 2 were for the rest of the attendees. Other winners received IALEI manuals, cases of fog fluid and score sheets.
