"I wish you had this conference in 1996. While I'm at it, I wish you had your new POS system in 1996. Bravo! If you want to open a center with less stress, in less time, and save money, you should come to the conference and do it right the first time."
- Marc Epstein, Owner, Lazer Park
The attendees came from as far away as Oregon and Oklahoma to learn how to open and operate a successful laser tag attraction as well as gain knowledge, experience and ideas from veteran operators. Nearly two-thirds of the attendees were from existing LASERTRON equipped centers.
The invaluable information that was presented included topics such as, Marketing, Capital Investment and Capital Re-Investment Systems, Marketing and Sales Systems, Creating and Delivering the Best Products and Guest Experiences, Management Leadership Systems and more.
"This conference provided yet another value added service that makes LASERTRON a cut above all laser tag systems."
- Vincent Candelora, Owner, Connecticut Sportsplex
Several guest speakers were on hand to provide additional information and education. Chuck Rice of First Niagara Risk Management was there to speak with the attendees about insurance for their facilities.
Mick Whipple from M&T Bank shared with the group information about securing financing for their projects and the ins and outs of SBA and bank loans.
On the first evening, LASERTRON elaborately transformed their birthday party area into a fine dining experience. Candles, mood lighting and beautifully decorated tables gave the attendees a sampling of how easily the space could be utilized for corporate dining functions and special events. The food was cooked on site, and wine and beer were served which is now offered at the LASERTRON center.
After a satisfying dinner everyone was given the opportunity to play in LASERTRON’s new 9,200 sq. ft. multi-level "Sport Arena" which offered players a two-team game format with Freeze Ray Mode and Virus Mode. Then players also experienced LASERTRON’s 3,300 sq. ft. multi-level "Adventure Arena" where the game was Team Free-For-All. Competitiveness was to the extreme!
"The whole LASERTRON team teaches by example what good service and professionalism are. They go the extra mile to make everyone feel great through the whole conference and maximize the experience."
- Genevieve McCormick
Prizes were given out at the end of the conference including two new LASERTRON LT-11 vests valued at over $5,000! Other winners received cases of fog fluid, LASERTRON T-shirts, hats and score sheets.
On the second evening guests were also invited to attend a social gathering at a local restaurant where drinks and appetizers were offered to everyone. Many of the prospects were able to meet one-on-one with existing operators and glean even more helpful suggestions and ideas for their projects. LASERTRON employees were also able to enjoy the camaraderie of their existing clients and developers.
"The enthusiasm shown by both the staff and other operators solidified our decision to work with LASERTRON."
- Oriane Rembalsky, Owner, Rembalsky Financial Group

On day three a new section for Operators and Developers was added to the itinerary and will be a permanent addition to future conferences. The Business Plan and Financial Statement Review was a thorough overview of the importance of a well planned and comprehensive business plan. A detailed review of a financial spreadsheet also showed developers the realistic numbers that a laser tag entertainment center can expect to see.
