September 12, 2001 LASERTRON and MAIN EVENT Team Up Once Again! LASERTRON, Inc., manufacturers of Interactive Entertainment will be providing Main Event with their third lasertag system and arena. Main Event is a successful entertainment multiplex catering to families, parties, and company outings. Their current centers are located in Grapevine, Texas and Lewisville, Texas. The newest location will be in Plano, Texas. The Plano center will have a 2,997-sq. ft. themed arena with a spectacular mural and a 52-pack system. The LT-X system will have new game formats and special birthday party announcements for birthday players as well as 9 CHIP's modes. Main Event will also be placing a Blasteroid Shooting Gallery, manufactured by LASERTRON, into their game room. Blasteroid is an 8-Player laser redemption shooting gallery that is a high tech and exciting game for all ages. Blasteroid does not require an attendant to run and with 480 plays per hour can be a consistent revenue earner for any entertainment center.
