Center Manager Pro

LASERTRON has developed the best management and operational software system for entertainment centers who specialize in multi-player interactive attractions such as laser tag, go-karts and miniature golf. The LASERTRON Center Manager Pro 4.0 software is available for existing entertainment facilities and new LASERTRON operators.

One of the unique features of the LASERTRON Center Manager Pro 4.0 system is its ability to collect guest data while simultaneously maximizing each guest's entertainment experience and maximizing the utilization and profitability of each attraction.

We have fully integrated our point of sale, reservation system, guest/member database, registration, data entry and guest information kiosk, and the Preprogramming, Game Selection and Team Creation for the LASERTRON Game System.

The software operating system is Linux based and utilizes the MySQL database. Linux is a highly stable and robust operating system. Any computer that has Netscape 6.0 or Firefox can be used to operate the point of sale software.

Point of Sale

Point of sale software will enable you to keep track of your sales transactions on a daily basis. The LASERTRON Center Manager Pro 4.0 system utilizes our unique reservation system to build sales and increase customer satisfaction.

Reliable

The software operating system is Linux based and utilizes the MySQL database. Linux is a highly stable, secure and robust operating system. On a busy sales day, the last thing you want to worry about is a failure of your point of sale and reservation system.

"Iave never had to reboot the system!"
- Marc Mueller, Owner, XP LaserSport on Center Manager Pro 4.0

Flexible

The point of sale software operates on an independent server at your facility. You won't need a high-speed internet connection to access this critical software.

The point of sale is also cross platform independent, which means it can be utilized in conjunction with any operating system. Back office computers can easily be set up to operate the point of sale software.

Remote Access

Need to book a sale from home? Want to log in and view your daily reservations while away from your center?

The LASERTRON point of sale system can accommodate these needs through secure remote access with the point of sale server. You can have full access to the point of sale software from any location . You'll be using the same screens you would access at your center.

Touch Screens

You can add touch screens to the point of sale system to increase the speed and efficiency of your staff. All touch screens are completely customizable to your needs.

"The touch screen is so easy to use- it cut the training of new employees by half. We will be putting the touch screen in the restaurant and snack bar area as well now."
-Paul Morris, General Manager, Laserport

The point of sale integrates the reservation system, guest/member database, and the LASERTRON laser tag game system.

The system as a whole performs the following functions:

  • Cash Control
  • Group, Party, Multi-attraction, Party Room, Party Table Reservations
  • Guest/Membership Database

Reservation System

Successful centers realize that the majority of their guests utilize their facilities on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Reservation software maximizes the revenue potential of an entertainment center during peak times.

In March and April our LASERTRON Interactive Entertainment Center in Buffalo had its 6 busiest Saturdays ever. Our guests played 1,144 30-minute sessions of laser tag on a Saturday in April. Our two arenas were at full capacity for over 9 hours. The reservation system spreads out the peak demand for our attractions throughout the entire day. The only way we could have done this many players is by utilizing a reservation system.

"The capabilities of the LASERTRON POS/reservation system compared to the system I use to have has allowed me to improve my operations and given me more flexibility in serving my customers."
- Peter Murphy, Owner, Laser Flash

The reservation software within the LASERTRON Center Manager Pro 4.0 System can increase revenue on busy weekends and holidays by 10% to 30% or more. We estimate that our reservation system generates over $200,000 dollars in additional sales per year for our LASERTRON laser tag center in Buffalo, New York.

The reservation system can be used to make reservations for multiple attractions such as laser tag arenas, go-kart tracks, mini-golf courses, and any attraction that has a fixed hourly capacity as well as birthday rooms or tables.

A guest can call and make a reservation months in advance or for the same day. Advanced bookings for birthdays, groups, lock-ins, and corporate groups are easy to reserve.

A reservation system will significantly maximize your guests' satisfaction. The ability for a guest to make a reservation and guarantee their playing time is a big benefit. By using a reservation system guests don't have to worry about standing in line and waiting to play. They can schedule their time and show up knowing a spot has been saved for them.

Since the arcade and snack bar can be significant revenue generators, it makes a lot of sense to have a reservation system that gives your guests the opportunity to utilize your arcade and snack bar as opposed to standing in line.

The reservation system also helps with the scheduling of your staff. By reviewing your reservations, you are able to estimate how busy you are going to be for the upcoming week.

The reservation system is fully integrated into our Point of Sale software.

Guest/Membership Database

The Guest/Membership database inside the LASERTRON Center Manager Pro 4.0 management system can be utilized to promote and market to your customers. The database allows you to do mailings to groups and guests whose birthdays are approaching and much more.

The development of a high quality database is critical to the long-term success of any entertainment center. A guest entry kiosk is also available with the point of sale system.

"The new Lasertron POS system is excellent. Up until now, there has been no specific proprietary software available for laser tag operators. Currently, the POS system integrates a cash register function, a laser tag game management function including a customer check-in kiosk option, a customer database function and an accounting function. It is well worth owning."
-Michael McAuliffe, Owner, Lazer Zone

The guest/membership database utilizes the MySQL database. MySQL is a powerful and highly stable database and is the number one choice for open source database providers.

Registration, Data Entry and Guest Information Kiosk

Our registration, data entry and guest information kiosk streamlines the entire registration process for professional high-end laser tag and multi-player attraction operators.

When players enter your facility the first step is to get everyone registered under the correct reservation which designates the correct attractions and playing times.

"The money saved on data entry alone make this system worthwhile."
- Marc Mueller, Owner, XP LaserSport

Once the correct reservation is found, each guest is provided with a bar coded ID card and directed to register at the first available kiosk by swiping their ID card at the kiosk terminal.

The terminal will immediately activate and welcome the guest. Each guest will proceed to register by providing his or her name, address, phone number, email, DOB, codename, etc. When each guest completes his or her registration the system will thank the guest and display his or her start times.

Having your guests enter their own data is very cost effective. The data entry kiosks virtually eliminate the need for your staff to spend hours upon hours entering your guests' names and addresses into your database to build your mailing list.

"The POS system is the lifeblood of our business. In addition to making our operating life easier, it is vital to our advertising plan. Instead of wasting thousands of dollars trying to advertise to potential consumers, we direct market the consumers who frequent our business. Simply stated, they will remember you a lot better if you remind them that you are still open! Thus, we start each week by aggressively targeting the players and groups who have come before."
-David Bridgwater, Owner, Radical Rick's Family Entertainment Center

Guests can also edit their own information at any time by utilizing their personal bar coded ID card.

Preprogramming, Game Selection and Team Creation for LASERTRON Game System

Our management and operational software system is fully integrated into our LASERTRON laser tag system.

We have designed a special software interface that allows your laser tag center to preprogram or select a preprogrammed game off-line and to also create the teams for the next game. All this can be done while a laser tag game is still running. This significantly increases your ability to maximize your attractions utilization.

From any computer terminal laser tag games can be preprogrammed quickly by a staff member in a windows style environment or a staff member can select from up to 250 preprogrammed games.

When the existing game is completed, the game computer will wait for the next preprogrammed game and player roster from our point-of-sale software interface. A staff member simply clicks on the send button and the next game is ready to go.

You can preview a demo of this game software for the LASERTRON LT-11 Game System. View Demo.

Time Clock and Employee Scheduling

Every facility has employees and needs a time clock system to manage employee hours easily and efficiently. Center Manager Pro 4.0 includes a built-in employee time clock and scheduling functions.

From any POS/Management Terminal, your employees can securely clock in and out for shifts and breaks. Managers can be given authorization to amend time-clock punches for missed punches or work away from the facility. At the end of each pay period, reports can be generated that list each punch and calculate the hours worked for the period by employee.

"The money saved on data entry alone make this system worthwhile."
- Marc Mueller, Owner, XP LaserSport
"The POS has never crashed on us. I can't say enough good things about the POS. The time clock upgrade is great, it allows for much more effective scheduling/staffing. I know the number of hours needed on weekends based on number of parties booked and I can manage the employee hours better."
-Paul Morris, General Manager, Laserport

The system includes a scheduling component that allows your management to create a weekly schedule. The schedule can be reviewed by any employee from any POS terminal. The schedule can be used with the time clock to verify employees are clocking in close to their shift and help prevent some time clock fraud.

The time clock and scheduling system is a simple tool to make your facility more efficient and profitable.

Gift Card and Reward Programs

Delivering gift cards to guests is another feature in the Center Manager Pro 4.0 system. Gift cards can be any card with a barcode on it, including paper membership cards or hard plastic cards you pre-print or print on demand. Printing hard plastic cards requires the installation of a compatible card printer.

Gift cards are tied into a unique account that may be tied to a particular member record. This will allow you to reissue cards to a member who loses their gift card without any risk. The old card account can be zeroed out and the balance placed on account. This will give your customers peace of mind with their gift cards.

You can apply a cash amount to the gift card or any system PLU (item). This will allow you to pre-sell attractions at a discounted rate, for instance. You can also apply both a PLU and a cash amount to any card. This would allow promotions that include a free attraction with the purchase of a "$xx" value card.

A rewards program can be used to reward your employees, vendors or customers. Instead of placing a value on the card, the rewards card places a limit on how much can be "spent" with the card. Detailed reports give you information on what was spent. This allows you to control employee benefits, such as free attraction play or free food.

Go-Kart Timing and Scoring

Our LASERTRON Interactive Entertainment Center has recently opened our first outdoor attraction: the LASERTRON Racing Experience featuring high-end electric go-karts on a slick track.

Making the Racing Experience similar in scope to our incredible laser tag experience was our goal from day one. We have integrated timing hardware and software into Center Manager Pro 4.0 to provide a world-class racing experience for our guests.

A separate go-kart game computer keeps track of player lap times and overall times. At the end of each racing session, players receive a scorecard just like laser tag.

At LASERTRON, there are three different racing speeds for racers of different experience levels. Center Manager Pro manages the different race speeds, reporting the information to the go-kart game computer.

LASERTRON Racing Experience drivers sign in at the Guest Entry Kiosk and are able to race using a codename of their creation.

The Complete Racing Experience package, including briefing video, timing and game hardware and software requires an additional investment but can only be fully realized by Center Manager Pro users.
